The neverending story

My contact was not actually with Sky TV. I wanted to contact Sky Broadband, but I found it very difficult to contact them and Sky TV was the first point of contact I managed to make (via email).

They eventually identified themselves as Sky Help Centre. It's been going on for several days and looks like still having several more days to go. There has been a long list of emails and one phone call made to me. All communications have been very polite but the phone call in particular was difficult to understand due to poor English.

Inintially I got the impression that they were fobbing me off, but I strongly persevered and it looks like we may eventually reach a conclusion. Fingers crossed.

I was told that Disney+ was free with my glass, but it happened it was not until I spoke to a customer service representative this morning who explained that I was misinformed and was really helpful. He managed to, however, build my confidence again, and that is a plus.

I ordered a broadband connection with sky in January for my new build
The open reach engineer visited in February and signed off the job card but did not complete the job.
Over the last week, I have tried to resolve my problem with several calls to sky. Each time, I have had to get the call operator up to speed with the situation which was a protracted drawn out affair.
It was agreed that a sky operator from complaints would call at 09.15 on 11th June.

I had my phone in my hand and the call from sky went straight to voice mail. It said I had failed to answer and sky could offer 1 call per day and would try again after 1 day with no arranged time.
Sorry sky, but Im over this now.
I have gone with another provider.
We are also cancelling our other sky broadband account.
This poor communication has caused undue stress and I need a more reliable response.
